About AFIDEP

The African Institute for Development Policy (AFIDEP) is an African-led, regional non-profit policy think tank founded in 2009. AFIDEP was established to bridge the persistent gaps between research, policy, and practice in Africa, particularly focusing on:

• Health systems strengthening

Mission & Purpose

AFIDEP aims to support evidence-informed decision-making that promotes sustainable socio-economic development. It enables the formulation of effective policies and programs by synthesizing and packaging research evidence in user-friendly formats for policymakers and practitioners.
