Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all import and export activities in and out of Kenya, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations and smooth logistics operations.
  • Calculate and prepare landed cost estimates before importing any goods, ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality.
  • Monitor stock levels consistently and plan ahead to ensure timely procurement of materials, preventing stockouts and delays in operations.
  • Work closely with the storekeepers to track and manage a wide range of inventory items (both small and large) across various categories.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with suppliers, compare prices, and source products to meet operational needs.
  • Prepare and file purchase orders accordingly, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Input and update data into the ERP system to keep records accurate and up-to-date.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • Proven experience in import/export management
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, shipping processes, and logistics.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate and track landed costs.
  • Experience in stock monitoring, planning, and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems for data entry and order managemen
