🌍 Import & Export Operations

Silverstone Tyres (K) Ltd is actively involved in international trade:

• Imports: Over 5,000 shipments from 101 suppliers, primarily from China, India, and South Korea. Key suppliers include Continental Tyre SA Pty Ltd, Sailun Group Hongkong Co Limited, and ATC Tires Private Limited.

• Exports: Shipments to countries such as South Sudan, Uganda, and Rwanda, with products including tyres and lubricants.

🏭 Brand Evolution & Ownership

Originally established in Malaysia in 1986, Silverstone Berhad became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. in 2010. However, due to financial challenges, Toyo Tire Corporation closed the loss-making Silverstone tyre plant in Malaysia in June 2021. Production of certain Silverstone brand products was transferred to Toyo Tire Malaysia Sdn Bhd (TTM), another subsidiary of Toyo Tire, ensuring the continuity of the Silverstone brand in the market.
