Their flagship product, the BetterStove, is a biomass gasifier cookstove designed to reduce indoor air pollution and deforestation by utilizing sustainable biofuel pellets made from agricultural waste like sugarcane bagasse. This stove is 98% cleaner than traditional charcoal stoves and offers gas-like performance.

🌍 Impact and Expansion

Since its inception in 2020, EcoSafi has expanded its operations to Uganda, Malawi, and Zambia. In Kenya, the company aims to establish 25,000 sustainable clean cooking services by 2028, potentially benefiting up to 125,000 people. EcoSafi’s innovative approach has earned it an ‘A’ rating from BeZero Carbon, marking it as the only cookstove project with such a distinction.
