Compassion International

Compassion International is a Christian child-advocacy ministry dedicated to releasing children from spiritual, economic, social, and physical poverty. Founded in 1952 by American evangelist Rev. Everett Swanson in response to the suffering of children orphaned by the Korean War, Compassion International has grown into a global movement that supports millions of children across more than 25 developing countries.

Compassion International Kenya is a Christian, child-focused, and church-driven non-governmental organization dedicated to releasing children and youth from poverty in Jesus’ name. Since its establishment in Kenya in 1980, the organization has partnered with over 450 local churches across 29 counties, serving more than 131,000 children and youth through holistic development programs.
