CIFF in Kenya
Since establishing its Nairobi office in 2009, CIFF has been instrumental in implementing and supporting programs across Kenya and the broader African region. Their initiatives focus on several key areas:
-
Child Health & Development: Collaborating with national governments and technology partners to enhance antenatal care delivery platforms, ensuring healthier births and optimal child development in countries like Kenya and Ethiopia.
-
Sexual & Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR): Empowering adolescents to make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health, aiming to reduce unintended pregnancies and HIV infections.
-
Girl Capital: Promoting gender equality by investing in programs that support the education and empowerment of girls and young women.
-
Child Protection: Working to eliminate child labor and sexual exploitation, ensuring safe and nurturing environments for children.
-
Climate Change: Supporting initiatives that address climate change impacts, recognizing the profound effect environmental factors have on children’s futures.
CIFF’s Nairobi office plays a pivotal role in developing and overseeing these programs, ensuring they are tailored to the unique needs of the region. The office emphasizes collaboration with local partners to implement evidence-based solutions that drive systemic change.
