CFK Africa, formerly known as Carolina for Kibera, is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Nairobi, Kenya, with additional registration as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the United States. Established in 2001 by Rye Barcott, Salim Mohamed, and the late Tabitha Atieno Festo, CFK Africa focuses on empowering youth in informal settlements through initiatives in public health, education, and leadership development.
