Baraka Agricultural College (BAC), established in 1974 by the Catholic Diocese of Nakuru, is located in Molo, Nakuru County, Kenya. Managed by the Franciscan Brothers, the college is dedicated to promoting Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development (SARD) across Eastern Africa through education, training, and outreach programs.

Short Courses:
BAC offers various short courses tailored for farmers, youth, development workers, and rural entrepreneurs. These include training in organic farming, kitchen gardening, greenhouse production, dairy and poultry farming, beekeeping, fish farming, value addition, and farm management.
🐝 Beekeeping Development Programme
The college has been a pioneer in sustainable beekeeping since 1974. Its Beekeeping Development Centre focuses on research, equipment manufacturing, product processing, and capacity building in beekeeping across East Africa.
🌱 Farm Enterprises
BAC operates a 46.27-hectare farm divided into:

Conventional Farm: Engaged in potato seed and ware production, vegetable farming, dairy cattle, piggery, and fodder crops.

Organic Farm: Established in 1986, it serves as a demonstration site for sustainable practices like composting, crop rotation, integrated pest management, and livestock integration.

Baraka Agricultural College is situated along the Molo-Kericho road, approximately 7 kilometers from Molo town in Nakuru County, Kenya.
