Baraka Agricultural College (BAC), established in 1974 by the Catholic Diocese of Nakuru, is located in Molo, Nakuru County, Kenya. 🐝 Beekeeping Development Programme

The college has been a pioneer in sustainable beekeeping since 1974. Its Beekeeping Development Centre focuses on research, equipment manufacturing, product processing, and capacity building in beekeeping across East Africa.


🌱 Farm Enterprises

BAC operates a 46.27-hectare farm divided into:

  • Conventional Farm: Engaged in potato seed and ware production, vegetable farming, dairy cattle, piggery, and fodder crops.

  • Organic Farm: Established in 1986, it serves as a demonstration site for sustainable practices like composting, crop rotation, integrated pest management, and livestock integration.
