About Company

Alupe University (AU) is a public institution located in Busia County, Kenya, approximately 7 kilometers from Busia town along the Busia-Malaba Road. Established in 2015 through Legal Notice No. 153, it transitioned from being the Alupe campus of Moi University to a constituent college, and later achieved full university status.

Academic Structure and Programs

AU comprises several schools offering a range of programs:

  • School of Science, Technology, and Engineering: Offers degrees in Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Microbiology, and Parasitology.

  • School of Health Sciences: Provides programs in Medical Laboratory Science, Environmental Health, Medical Psychology, and Physical Therapy.

  • School of Business, Economics, and Human Resource Development: Includes courses in Business Management, Economics, Hotel and Hospitality Management, and Communication and Public Relations.

  • School of Education and Social Sciences: Covers Education (Arts and Science), Community Development, Social Work, and Psychology.

Leadership and Accreditation

The university is led by Vice-Chancellor Professor Peter Barasa. It is accredited by the Commission for University Education (CUE) in Kenya.
